FAQ

The questions worth asking any mover.

If you're comparing companies, hold every one of them to these answers.

Every piece wrapped and padded
Background-checked, uniformed crews
Owner-operated, Newport Beach based
Flat-rate price locked in writing
How is your price guaranteed?

You tell us about the move through the quote form, by phone, or during a walkthrough for larger homes. We send one flat price in writing that lists exactly what is included. That is the number on your invoice. If the job takes longer than we planned, that is our cost, not yours. The only way the price changes is if you add to the move, and we confirm any change in writing before we load.

What happens if something is damaged?

Every piece is wrapped and padded on every move, which is why it rarely happens. If it does, we tell you before you find it and we make it right: repair, replacement or payment. We carry cargo and liability coverage and we walk you through the coverage options in writing before your move.

How far in advance should I book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable. Weekends and the last week of the month go first. We keep room for short-notice moves and can often take a job with a few days' notice, so call and we will tell you honestly what is open.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

A $500 deposit reserves your date and crew and is applied to your final bill. Cancel or reschedule 72 hours or more before your move and it is refunded in full. Inside 72 hours we keep it, because we have turned other clients away for your date.

What does the On-Time Guarantee mean?

We give you a 2-hour arrival window when we confirm. If the crew arrives after that window, $250 comes off your bill automatically. No forms, no asking.

Do you move on weekends?

Yes, seven days a week, with no weekend premium. Weekends are the first to book, so reserve early if your dates are fixed.

Do I need to empty drawers?

For dressers holding clothes or linens, no. We wrap them with the drawers in. Please empty anything heavy, breakable or spillable, and empty desks and file cabinets. If a piece is antique or very large we may ask you to empty it for its own safety.

Can you move a single item?

Yes. A piano, a piece of art, a safe, a sofa. Specialty and single-item moves get a flat price like everything else and you are not paying a four-hour minimum.

What do you never charge for?

Stairs, long carries, fuel inside Orange County, shrink wrap, tape, pads, dollies, disassembly and reassembly of standard furniture, weekend dates, and card processing. If it is a normal part of moving a home, it is in the flat price.

What areas do you cover?

Coastal and south Orange County first: Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Crystal Cove, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Dana Point, Monarch Beach and Mission Viejo. We also move clients throughout Orange County and into Los Angeles, San Diego and the desert. If your move starts or ends here, we can quote it.
